Art through canine eyes

In this delightful book, Joy Fitzsimmons combines her two passions - dogs and art. A Dog’s Guide to Art takes you on a walk around the world of art from the perspective of her two dachshunds, Ned and Henry, and their gang of four-legged friends, encountering famous paintings and sculptures along the way. These are playfully re-imagined by man’s best friend including Whistler’s Mother, Picasso’s The Dream and Matisse’s The Fall of Icarus right up to Warhol’s Campbell Soup. Joy worked as a freelance book designer and illustrator for 25 years before the arrival of her two dachshunds encouraged her to form London Pooch - a design company producing cards, prints and gifts inspired by her short-legged friends.
