MMM  |  Dramatic Escapes - July 2017

Welcome to the July issue of MMM - Britain’s best-selling motorhome magazine – which is packed with some dramatic tours.

For a start there are two amazing alpine motorhome tours – one through the amazing Swiss landscape and another through the Ecrin national park in France. If you’d rather a flatter, but no less beautiful landscape, then try our tour of The Netherlands.

If you prefer touring in the UK, then don’t miss David Chapman’s spectacular adventure in the Orkneys or a sublime tour through Yorkshire – God’s own country.

If you’re new to touring in a motorhome, then we have beginners’ guide to motorhoming in Europe – it is much easier than you think.

We also continue the weekend breaks series with a delightful short break in Ullswater in the Lake District.

MMM continues to bring readers three in-depth motorhome reviews in each issue and this month our expert road testers review the latest special edition Hymer, which we think is one of the best new models currently on the market. Our road testers also put Swift’s twin-lounge low-profile to the test and the all-new V-Line van conversion from Auto-Trail.

Better still, we’ve video the Auto-Trail review just for you.

As always, there’s loads more in this issue, including answers to readers’ technical questions, a guide to adding a rear step to a Ford campervan and an easy solution to adapting an electric drop-down bed switch.

Our electrical expert also explains how to get 240v main electric from your 12v leisure battery.

There lots of detailed buying advice, including the dos and don’ts if you’re buying your very first motorhome, the latest bargains from dealer forecourts and advice for those interested in classic motorhomes and campervans.

Finally, there is even a chance to win a new BBQ for the summer and passes to the upcoming outdoor and passes to the upcoming outdoor summer motorhomer shows.
Britain’s best-selling motorhome and motorcaravan magazine for the past 50 years.
Written by motorhomers for motorhomers.
Each month, MMM is packed with inspiring motorhome travel features, covering destinations both at home and abroad. These travel features are written by real motorhomers, so when they say an area makes a perfect destination for motorhomes, you can be sure it does.
The tested section in every issue of MMM sees a team of reviewers put the latest motorhomes through a detailed and comprehensive road test. MMM has earned an enviable reputation for producing motorhome reviews that are some of the most in-depth new vehicle tests you will find in print.
Every issue of MMM is also packed with much more, including new and used motorhome buying advice, the latest motorhome news and interviews, touring tests, technical tips, expert advice and pages of readers’ letters. With a typical issue containing over 300 pages, it is little wonder MMM continues to be Britain's favourite motorhome magazine!

Travel pages are the best! Reviewed Thursday, March 23, 2017
I read this to live the dream. I don't have a motorhome YET!!!!! but like to look at this mag. to see what's waiting for me when I do. LOADS of places to trigger travel envy. FANTABULOUS pictures. It gets better and better and there are some great writers. The Devon article by the travel ed. Helen Werin is brilliant and so is the Spain one by Penny Rennolds. Worth buying the mag. just for these.. Keep up the good work MMM.
