Our cover car this issue is is SpeedTech Motorsports’ blistering 402whp R56 Cooper S. This epic big-turbo R56 build isn’t just an exercise in raw power, even though it is making around 460hp at the crank. It’s a complete performance project, with the looks, a sorted chassis, and a full-on interior, and it’s one seriously hot hatch.
We’ve also got an absolutely ferocious F56 Cooper S for you, and while this example might look sensible on the outside, it’s anything but on the inside, and it’s making a monstrous 406hp thanks to some serious under-bonnet upgrades. On top of that, we have an R52 Convertible for you, but not just any supercharged soft-top, oh no. This one has been built with both show and go in mind, specifically track days, probably the most unlikely location you’d ever expect to find a convertible. This build delivers on every level, with plenty of power courtesy of its comprehensive engine upgrades, a focused interior, and styling that lets you know this soft-top is not messing around.
Elsewhere, we bring you a dazzling American R56 that looks good from every angle thanks to its stylish exterior upgrades and full-on interior, plus we’ve got an R53 that’s serving up some serious flair. This bold build sits low on air-ride over gorgeous custom BBS RFs, and it’s one tasty-looking machine. Beyond that, we bring you a buying and tuning guide to the R56 Cooper S, a track driving guide all about braking, and loads more besides!

Digital version photos are veeery low quality

I tried a new and modern way of purchase and got digital issue. My overall comment is - this is the last purchase. Text is not a problem, you can zoom in and read without any doubts. The biggest problem are pictures. All pictures are veeery low quality (resolution) and zooming in makes it..... Terrible.. these days with all portable toys this is a big mistake. Poor guality photos will make your purchase useless. Reviewed 03 November 2015
