When Adam Bomb and the rest of the Original Series 1 Garbage Pail Kids first arrived, they came with a “cheap” $0.25 price tag. Those days are gone—long gone. Recently, a complete box from that first set sold for $20,896.05 (including buyer’s premium) through a Mile High Card Company Auction. The box included 48 packs from the initial series. The box had been inspected and wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange.
The same auction also had a near complete box of 1969 Topps Wacky Ads reach $12,130.80. This particular box came with 19 packs, five short of a full one.
