FINDING a manager to lead the Lorn Arc Project in Oban has become more difficult than anyone looking at the £40,000-a-year job would have thought.
The vacancy advertised in April failed to be filled and Argyll and Bute Council is now making a second attempt to employ someone for the Oban-based role.
The job includes spending more than £18 million of cash on various projects throughout the area, including developing town centre projects and the extension to Oban’s North Pier.
