ONE of the main events at this month’s Skye Book Festival features one of Scotland’s most distinguished literary talents, Graeme Macrae Burnet.
Graeme’s critically acclaimed novel His Bloody Project was short-listed for the prestigious Man Booker Prize in October last year, leading to him being named Author of the Year 2017 at the Sunday Herald Culture Awards.
Graeme told organisers: ‘It is particularly exciting to speak at an event so close to the setting of His Bloody Project as I expect the conditions under which the crofters live in the book will be of particular interest to the audience there.’
