THERE was a huge outpouring of grief from all over the world at the death of Eilidh MacLeod and the serious injuries suffered by her best friend Laura MacIntyre, both from Barra, in the Manchester Arena atrocity.
Jackie Aspinall posted: ‘We are travelling up to Oban from Lancashire for our annual family holiday. We feel like we have a foot in each community. We are desperately saddened. Rest in Peace little one.’
Pat Trehan lamented: ‘There are no words. So sad for the loss of Eilidh and the other beautiful children and young people. Impossible to imagine the pain her family and friends are feeling. I can only hope heartfelt thoughts and prayers can help a little.’
