Archaeologists are standing by on Skye as contractors begin to remove top soil as part of preparation work for Broadford’s new £15m community hospital.
An ecologist and staff from the AOC Archaeology Group have been on hand since Monday to supervise as mechanical diggers begin removing the vegetation and top soil at the site for the new hospital, located between the Dr Mackinnon Memorial Hospital and Broadford Health Centre.
