Missive implausible
Sir,
Wearily I read A. Lee’s letter (“Irony filing”, Letters, Eye 1653), a worthy candidate for “Funny Old World” save for it being far from unique and not very funny. This particular “Israel right or wrong” missive exonerates the only Jewish country in the world from any blame for acting a little carelessly in the deaths of nearly 60,000 Gazans and the starvation of all the rest.
