A US-based Italian journalist and Genesis confidant since the early 1970s, Armando Gallo has previously penned several books chronicling the band’s exploits. This latest ties in with the renewed interest in The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway following the recent 50th-anniversary multi-disc box and includes an extensive interview with Peter Gabriel conducted in October 1974, prior to The Lamb’s release the following month, and Gallo’s own highly detailed, impressionistic account of the resulting stage show from January 1975 in Los Angeles.
