SuperBike South Africa Magazine September 2013 Back Issue

English
3 Reviews   •  English   •   Aviation & Transport (Motorcycles)
In the September issue we take a first ride on 2013 Hyabusa and come away realising that it is still mental. Chris Northover takes three different bikes, namely a NSF250R Moto3, a BMW HP4 S 1000 RR and a Honda CBR600RR in search of the ultimate trackday motorcycle with some interesting feedback. John Hogan gets a go on Melandri's S 1000 RR WSBK bike and comes away impressed. Our main feature is an article on the Mike Hailwood and his 1978 TT comeback. We had our local pencil sketch artist Jacques create the images and it makes for a very worthwhile read. The Pirelli Bike of the year is unveiled, and the expected winner, the BMW GS 1200 LC, comes out on top, although it was followed closely by the new KTM 1190. Bill takes the Street Glide for a ride and comes back wanting to ride more. Clint goes down to Amersfoort Training grounds to attend the launch of the new BMW F 800 GS Adventure, a bike full of promise as the most ideal bike for SA conditions.
