A glance into my garden reminds me yet again that all the powerful combinations exist in nature: magenta, acid yellow, cadmium yellow, deep red and bright orange stand out. I’m also very fond of white flowers and have one large bed dedicated to these. We could assume that white is a pale, almost non-existent colour but there are many whites and, most importantly, white is extremely strong when it is set against another strong colour such as green.
