FORMER Italy captain Sergio Parisse will retire at the end of the season. The 39-year-old previously announced he would retire from Test rugby after the 2019 World Cup but changed his mind. In 2021 he also said he would retire but again had a change of heart. “I will finish next June,” said the Toulon No.8. “After 20 years in professional rugby, there will be difficult moments. I know I will miss rugby and I am trying to prepare myself.”
