Total BMW Magazine Feb-23 Back Issue

English

Our cover car for this issue is an awesome supercharged E60 M5. While it might look subtle on the outside, and its discreet styling enhancements mean it can sneak by most folk without so much as a second glance, its S85 is now pushing out an incredible 680hp, and it’s an absolute beast of a build. Following on from that, we’ve got a full-on E30, and this stripped-out, hardcore build combines wonderfully retro styling with a 4.4-litre M62 V8 stuffed under the bonnet, and it’s a ferocious machine that’s guaranteed to get your blood pumping. And sticking with V8s, we’ve also got an absolutely stunning E38 740i; this Vermont green beauty started out as a completely standard car before being treated to a comprehensive selection of AC Schnitzer upgrades that have taken it to the next level.
On top of all that, we’ve also got a bit of a CSL special for you, with all four generations of car to wear the coveted badge present on these pages. We start with an in-depth look at the recently announced 3.0 CSL in our extended news piece, and then we get behind the wheel of the new G82 M4 CSL to see if this hardcore M car is worthy of that trio of letters. Then we had back to the past to trace the roots of the CSL badge, with a retrospective on the achingly cool E9 CSL that started it all, and then remind ourselves just how awesome the ultra-desirable E46 M3 CSL is. And if all that wasn’t enough, we’ve got a wild Mad Max-styled E46 build that is just straight-up fun, plus a detailed buying and tuning guide to the E30 325i, a tech guide to winter tyres, and loads more awesome BMW content for you to enjoy.

BMW Car

Just a well balanced read of old and new BMW's - love it. Reviewed 28 April 2020

BMW Car

I have subscribed to the whole back catalogue and its awesome, BUT hard to find articles without an index. Please publish an index. Will definitely help me and probably sell more back issues if readers could find what issues they needed.

Secondly, and a really picky ask, please feature more of the N63/N63TU.

Keep up the good work :)
