The original show spluttered to an unexpected stop during filming in March 2015, after one of the three hosts, Jeremy Clarkson, physically and verbally attacked producer Oisin Tymon. Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May left the BBC for Amazon’s on-demand service shortly after, leaving Radio 2 DJ
Chris Evans and Episodes and Friends star Matt LeBlanc to take on one of British TV’s most beloved institutions.
