UK literary magazine Neon accepts poetry and prose from around the world but is particularly interested in seeing more submissions from UK writers.
The magazine is published quarterly online and in print and the focus is on ‘work that is beautifully written, cold and contemporary’. Darker pieces, especially those with an element of the surreal or speculative, are preferred although it is possible to surprise editor Krishan Coupland with work outside those categories.
Images, comics, graphic poems and self-contained extracts will all be considered and there is no set word limit for submissions, but you are advised to send enough work to cover roughly three pages of the magazine.
