Engin took over Marine Bisro 2 years ago having been involved in hospitality here in Tarbert and from his native country Turkey. He says that on arriving here he immediately fell in love with the place and decided to settle down and to start his own business. Because of his love of food he started what is now Marine Bistro.
The bistro has gone from strength to strength and is a relaxed bar and restaurant on the harbour. “We offer a great choice. We always use local produce, fresh fish and ingredients and what a place to eat opposite this magnificent view”!
Engin says “We are now licensed so we can now offer a good selection of wine and beer. Drinks are served from morning till night which makes it a great place to stop and have a little something before you explore the surroundings. Everyone is welcome here.”
