As a campervanner this is my favourite time of year, when the evenings get lighter, things start growing and spring is nearly here. More importantly, we've just been inspired by all the exciting new campervans at the February NEC motorhome show and our favourite seasonal campsites open.
Speaking of campsites, it's worth pointing out that the Premier Parks group is celebrating its 10th year. I was involved in its set-up and it's really great to see how this group of high-end campsites has developed. We celebrate its birthday on page 82. If you've never stayed at one of these posh parks, they're well worth checking out. There are 100 dotted around the UK and Ireland.
The other reason there's much excitement in the Rosenthal household is that my Renault campervan conversion is finally finished - you can read all about the build and what it all cost on page 101. It's been a lot of effort to complete it, but the results have exceeded expectations and I certainly appreciate how much effort goes into building one, now!
While it's great to test shiny new campervans, it's never the same as using your own 'van (it's like staying in a hotel room, rather than your own bedroom) so we can't wait to get out and about in it.
