Bitwarden's improved Auto-fill
Password manager Bitwarden has updated its extension to make it easier to add details when filling out online forms. Previously, you had to select an entry in your vault and then click the Fill button. Now you just need to click the vault entry, skipping the Fill button. It’s not turned on by default, though, so open Bitwarden’s extension ( 1 in our screenshot) then click Settings followed by Auto-fill. Now tick ‘Click items to autofill on Vault view’ 2 . It’s part of Bitwarden version 2024.12.4 and later. Your browser should have automatically updated the extension to the latest version, but check by clicking Bitwarden’s 1 Settings cog, then About followed by About Bitwarden. You’ll see the version number 2 in the box that appears. Make sure it’s 2024.12.4 or more recent.
