Every Doctor’s costume has evolved between their first and last stories. Sometimes it’s only a minimal change, as when Peter Davison swapped his cricket jumper and stripy trousers for a slightly different cricket jumper and stripy trousers. Other times it’s a subtle streamlining or perfecting of the same basic idea, as with Patrick Troughton’s costume.
