Welcome to Military Modelling Magazine Volume 47, Issue 8, which, as with the last issue, has been crammed with another ten fine articles. We have attempted to cover as much of this vast, growing hobby as possible. I would like to begin by thanking all of you who have stuck with Military Modelling over the past year or so. It’s been a tough job trying to steady the ship and I appreciate the support of those who have embraced the changes that have been applied, some of which have been more discreet than others. The world of modelling magazines is one of the toughest leisure/hobby groups to crack and some kind of change had to occur for this mag to survive. I am still a long way away from achieving what I set out to do and with hindsight I was perhaps a little over-confident when anticipating how difficult that process might be. There are signs however that the road I have chosen to take this old magazine down is the right one and, through a combination of experimentation and revitalization, a significant corner has been turned.

All the best
Martyn
