based company have returned to the world of

32 2025 UK RACE REPORT
The NSR British Grand Prix, which incorporated
the long running Welsh GP was by all accounts
a superbly run event. The meeting drew much
positivity from the 30 plus drivers who raced
that they are doing all again in 2026.

Scalextric had two classic BTCC cars down for
release in 2025, the BMW 320i and the Volvo
850 Estate. No prizes for guessing which one
we, and most buyers were waiting for - it didn’t
disappoint.

Yes, the French company continue to punch
above their weight, releasing many new
toolings each year for such a small company.
This is their version of the Ferrari 296
GT3 machine, and very good it is too.
