Jamie Manson and Beth MacBeth, directors at Mike McFall Funeral Directors, presented the cheque to Gary and his family last week.
Following on from its 2018 Charity Texas Scramble in May, Mike McFall Funeral Directors presented Gary Campbell with a cheque for £2,250.05 towards his stem cell treatment fund, writes Neill Bo Finlayson. A strong field of golfers took to the course on Saturday May 19 for the four- person Texas scramble event at Fort William Golf Club. The team of Angus Morrison, John MacPhee, Lachlan Campbell and Ian MacFarlane secured a one-point victory in the competition. In the ladies competition, Kathleen Leitch, Kim Topping and Gina Hough finished in the top spot. The funeral directors said: ‘We would just like to thank everyone again that made our annual golf day such a success and helped us to raise this amount for Gary. ‘All at Mike McFall Funeral Directors wish Gary all the very best with future fundraising and his treatment.’ Gary Campbell, 29, was diagnosed with primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis last year and his friends and family have since launched a fundraising campaign so he can receive Hematopoietic Stem Cell Treatment in Mexico to combat MS. Gary, Leanne and family would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support.
