You’ve already made a mistake by moving in the wrong direction, exploring entirely the wrong floor and then having to sprint away from the dark and writhing horrors that await you in the guts of this ship This is made all the worse by having forgotten to record all the other bits of information you’d picked up on the way in your panic. Survival first, but had the flight instinct that kicked in really saved you or doomed you?
