CIRCUIT GABRIEL THIROUIN, ANGERVILLE (FRANCE). 7 APRIL 2019, ROUND 3
Bet won for the FFSA with the organization of the first events of the Championship of France OK and the Cup of France OK-Junior in Angerville in the preliminary program of the next European Championships FIA-Karting. The Finn Valtanen won in OK and Lennox Racing Team driver Jamie Day in OK-Junior. During the Women’s French Championship, Doriane Pin dominated until the coronation of her first title. 49 OK, 64 OK-Junior and 20 Females participated in the opening competition of the FFSA Karting 2019 season at the Angerville circuit. The weather was generally fine and dry, except for a wet Sunday morning that reduced grip before the sun returned in the early afternoon. The many teams and international drivers were able to enjoy this race under the FIA Karting rules to prepare in the best possible way for the next FIA Karting European Championships to be held in Angerville in two weeks. The initiative of the FFSA allowed the return to France of foreign competitors while offering French drivers a great opportunity to ride in the international OK and OK-Junior categories. The experience will be renewed in Le Mans next July, two weeks before the European conclusion.
