If you’re a vegetarian, or even just trying to reduce your meat intake, you’ll be pleased to know that Ikea is now offering a veggie alternative to its classic meatballs. Ikea is aiming to introduce a wider variety of healthier and more sustainable choices within its restaurants and Swedish food markets. The delicious new veggie meatballs, Gronsaksbullar, are high in nutrition, fibre and protein, and have a carbon footprint 30 times less than the much-loved traditional meatball. Starting from £3.85 per kilo, you can buy the veggie balls to cook at home or try them in one of Ikea’s restaurants.
