Olive Magazine

What's your favourite digital magazine?
I’m rarely faithful when it comes to foodie magazines, but Olive just tips the balance for me!

Why do you love Olive magazine?
I think food is a great leveller – it brings people together. Olive is full of ideas to save for dinner parties and special occasions, too. The recipes are always delicious and take inspiration from what’s in season, as well as what we’re celebrating throughout the year; whether that’s an Easter spread or summer BBQ season. It’s so easy to cook the same thing week-in-week-out, but Olive gives me a kick to get creative day-to-day. The food styling always makes my mouth water, too – if only I could get my dishes to look that good!
Any other stand out features?
The travel section at the back is full of stunning photography and a great way to explore potential new destinations through incredible food – definitely a deciding factor whenever I plan my next trip! I love reading up on where to go for local delicacies and noting insider tips on where to get the best food and drink in the area.
When’s your ideal time to read?
I love a Sunday morning read. I grab a mug of Earl Grey and dive into the latest issue of Olive on my iPad. It’s the best way to enjoy each issue from cover to cover and note down any great midweek recipes to add to the weekly shop.
What's been your favourite Olive cover?
I loved the most recent February issue, it was a total showstopper! I loved the look of the Nutella pancakes with boozy chocolate sauce – one to save for birthday breakfasts and special occasions!
