EX-AW ASSISTANT EDITOR DIES AT 69

DAVE COCKSEDGE, a former assistant editor at Athletics Weekly, has died aged 69.

As well as holding that role at AW from 1969-1973, he covered the 1972 Olympics and 1971 European Championships for AW with the magazine’s editor at the time, Mel Watman.
