FORMER British steeplechaser Hatti Archer will make her debut on the global stage as a mountain runner as part of an 18-strong squad to compete at the World Mountain Running Championships in Sapareva Banya, Bulgaria, on September 11.
Archer, 34, bronze medallist from the 2010 European Championships in the 3000m steeplechase, joins two international gold medallists on the mountain running scene – newly crowned European champion Emily Collinge and world long-distance mountain running champion Annie Conway – and Victoria Wilkinson.
