The annual Hornby Magazine Yearbook, brought to you by the team behind Hornby Magazine, is back for its 12th edition, offering 132 pages of model railway inspiration in our popular bookazine format.

The 2020 Hornby Magazine Yearbook is all about the positives of railway modelling. We showcase model railways, techniques, the best products and survey new models currently being made. Among the features are John Ryan’s stunning Over Peover layout and Trevor Jones’ ‘OO’ gauge garden railway. The Train Formations feature focuses on new wagons to show how they can be used and what locomotives would haul them. To honour the best of new models released in 2019, we showcase our top 20 products, including the winners of the Hornby Magazine Model Railway Awards. You can also check up on all the new releases from 2019 in our comprehensive Review of the Year.

To round off this Yearbook, there is a Forward to 2020 feature, which is our most extensive yet. Listing more than 170 ready-to-run products across ‘OO’, ‘N’, ‘O’ and ‘OO9’ and separated into locomotives, carriages and wagons, it shows the immense draw of railway modelling.
