Featuring The Undertones’ O’Neill brothers and US singer Steve Mack, TPE launched with 1986’s Manic Pop Thrill, then raised the stakes with Babble, its single, Big Decision, narrowly missing the charts. Similarly, indie-dance crossover Groove Check, from End Of The Millennium Psychosis Blues, deserved more, but Chemicrazy lacked their early fire and Fireproof saw it almost entirely extinguished. Still, alongside remixes, this box offers ample evidence of their incandescent live shows.
