When news of Cheryl and Liam Payne’s relationship broke earlier this year it sent shockwaves through the showbiz world, not least because of the pair ’s 11-year age difference.
And the spotlight was on the couple again last week when the 1D star’s ex-girlfriend, Danielle Peazer, revealed in an interview that Liam “maybe has a thing for age gaps.”

But pals say Cheryl, 33, is fuming that her private life has been put back in the limelight and is being discussed again. A source says: “Cheryl saw Danielle’s comments as a big dig over her age, and she wasn’t happy. She hates people gossiping about her relationships and this hurt her.”
