FlyPhotos 2.5.6

What you need: Windows 10 or 11
This lightweight photo viewer doesn’t have a traditional interface, but instead integrates with the Windows context menu. Right-click an image, select ‘Open with Fly’ and it will be instantly displayed on a transparent grey overlay. Scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in and out. At the bottom of the overlay are controls for viewing the next or previous images in the folder, and rotating photos through 360 degrees (see screenshot). Other settings include adjusting the transparency level of the overlay or making it a solid colour, and choosing the default image-display size. There are no editing tools, because the developer wants to recreate the simplicity of the long-discontinued Google Picasa Photo Viewer. FlyPhotos triggers a Smart Screen warning, but it’s safe to use (see its VirusTotal report at www.snipca. com/56489), so just click ‘More info’ then ‘Run anyway’.
