Living Blues #288 features California guitarist Arthur Adams. For more than 60 years Adams has been playing gospel, blues, R&B, and funk, lending his chops to hundreds of recording sessions and dozens of his own releases. This issue’s Let It Roll focusses on Avalon, Mississippi’s John Hurt was always a bit of an anomaly in the blues. His gentle singing and finger-picked guitar sound were like nothing else to come out of his home state.
