> DIGITAL ID ARRIVES Apple has introduced Digital ID, which provides a “secure and private” way to identify yourself via Apple Wallet using data from your US passport. At launch, Digital ID acceptance has rolled out in beta at TSA checkpoints at more than 250 airports in the US for in–person identity verification during domestic travel. Digital ID is not a replacement for a passport, and cannot be used for international travel and border crossing. It is also not accepted in all states.
