Arthur Cross, Ian King and John Young arrive at Oban’s Hope Kitchen after cycling 90 miles.
Cyclists Arthur Cross, Ian King and John Young pedalled 90 miles in a day from Lismore to Oban – the long way round via Ardnamurchan – to fundraise for Hope Kitchen and Mary’s Meals.
The challenge started at 7am on Friday September 28 on Lismore, before the trio crossed to Appin, then headed up to the Corran Ferry, over to Strontian in Morvern and Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, then sailed to Tobermory on Mull, cycling down to Craignure to meet the Oban ferry, finishing up in Hope Kitchen at 6pm – 90 miles and four ferry crossings later – for a wee ceilidh.
