LNER proposals
SEVERAL new works are proposed in the London and North Eastern Railway Bill, including connections between the Great Northern and City Railway at Drayton Park and the Canonbury lines at Finsbury Park, widenings between Liverpool Street and Stratford and between Fenchurch Street and Stratford, anew railway connecting the Alexandra Park and the Enfield branches, a connection just outside Lincoln between the Sleaford and Market Rasen lines, new railways at Scunthorpe and Frodingham, anew railway at Rufford, widenings near Pyewipe Junction and between Hull and Selby, and the conversion into cutting of the Thurgoland and Hattersley tunnels on the Sheffield and Manchester Railway.
