The 2013-built Longrun, formerly Espero and Flinter Ridhi, is to be followed into the Longship fleet by newbuilds Longsun and Longsky.

Dutch shortsea operator Longship expects to take delivery of two new 3,690dwt general cargo ships from the GS Yard in Waterhuizen, the Netherlands later this year. The 88m by 13.4m vessels will be managed by Norwegian broker Wagle Chartering and technically managed and crewed by Longship Management BV. Each ship is to feature a single open-top, boxshaped cargo hold for the carriage of grain, timber and project cargoes.
