This tip will have you using some of our earlier hacks to build customised running profiles that you can use depending on the type of run you’re doing. On your watch, go to the main Activity Menu and scroll down to Add New. Depending on which model you have, you might have a lot of different activity profiles to scroll through.
Next, go to Other, name the profile and scroll back to the tick icon. Next you’ll have the option to customise your data fields, alerts and other options for this profile. For a long run, you might want to have a specific heart rate alert set up, so that your heart rate doesn’t go above a certain number of beats per minute, making sure that you’re keeping your long runs at an easy pace. You might also want to turn off your Auto Lap.
