The winners of the 2022 World Fantasy Awards were announced at the World Fantasy Convention in New Orleans. The theme of the convention was ‘Old Souls and New Rhythms.’ The winners were: Best Novel, The Jasmine Throne, Tasha Suri (Orbit US/Orbit UK); Novella, And What Can We Offer You Tonight, Premee Mohamed (Neon Hemlock Press); Short Fiction, “(emet)”, Lauren Ring (The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, July/Aug 2021); Anthology, The Year’s Best African Speculative Fiction (2021), ed. Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki (Jembefola Press); Collection, Midnight Doorways: Fables from Pakistan, Usman T. Malik (Kitab). In addition, Samuel R.
