Christmas decorations add something really special to our dollhouses. Twinkling lights add a delightful sparkle and bold colors are sprinkled throughout from holiday decor! Maybe decorating for Christmas brings back some cherished family memories or perhaps you are now able to create a holiday setting you always dreamed about. Either way, as long as it brings you joy, it’s worth all the effort.
My early Christmas day memories consist of laying in front of a roaring fire with the sun cascading through the large window over me. The football game was usually on in the background and I was surrounded by shredded wrapping paper while holding onto my #1 present as I drifted off to dreamland.
My favorite time of the season as an adult has been Christmas Eve. There is a calm magic in the air, full of peace and joy. This is the day I like to be alone in my studio, most of the day with no interruptions. Then on Christmas day let the mayhem take hold!
