Time is running out for young people to vote for the Arran candidates bidding to become members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYP) for North Ayrshire before voting ends on Friday March 17.
As previously reported in the Banner, Arran High pupils Leigh Boyd and Eilidh Macpherson are vying for the two Cunninghame North seats against two candidates from the mainland.
The winning youngsters will represent the area for two years, beginning in June. Voting can be done in a number of ways – either in person across the area’s schools, colleges and youth centres, or online using the Young Scot e-voting system.
