The Corrie Film Club has extended an invitation for movie-lovers to join them today (Saturday) to enjoy ‘a day in the dark’ a series of classic films being shown at the Corrie Village Hall.
The theme of this year’s mini festival is ‘classics’, and visitors and members can expect a full day of audio visual entertainment at no cost. Soup, bread and cheese will be served at lunchtime and baked potatoes with fillings in the evening.
The programme will be: Scottish shorts at 10.30am, coffee at 11am. The Philadelphia Story from 11.15am to 1.15pm and lunch until 2pm. Rebecca from 2pm to 4pm, and tea and cake thereafter.
