CAS HOLDS KEY TO RUSSIA’S RIO HOPE

RUSSIAN athletes hoping to compete at the Rio Olympics will have their fate decided by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after the body confirmed it would make a decision on the IAAF’s suspension of the country’s athletes by July 21.

Yuliya Stepanova (nee Rusanova) will be allowed to compete at the Olympics as a neutral athlete
