BRITAIN’S two world No.1 athletes both take to the streets of Newcastle this weekend and there’s every possibility the pair can produce some special times.
Mo Farah, now a four-time Olympic champion, will doubtless be in good form as he was in 2015 when he broke the British half-marathon record and Laura Muir, despite her packed post-Rio schedule, says she’s still feeling as fresh. Recent performances on the track (p44) and on the road in New York (p46) back that claim up.
