A former director of NHS Highland adult social care will be the new boss for Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership.
Joanna Macdonald has also worked for Argyll and Bute Council as a service manager in adult services. Ms Macdonald said: ‘In addition to the challenges involved in delivering health and social care services in such a remote and rural area, we are currently facing significant financial pressures, with a projected overspend of £4.2 million for this financial year.
‘Our goal is to continue to deliver the best health and social care services for the people living and working in Argyll and Bute while tackling our financial challenges.’
