An expanded, multidisc version of Def Leppard’s multiplatinum-selling 1983 album Pyromania will belatedly celebrate the album’s 40th anniversary. Available on April 26, the reboot includes the previously unreleased song No You Can’t Do That, plus demos and rough mixes. Adeluxe edition also includes a book of interviews conducted by Classic Rock’s Paul Elliott.
Jethro Tull have replaced guitarist Joe Parrish with Jack Clark, a multiinstrumentalist who has previously played live with the band. Tull leader Ian Anderson recently confirmed that he played flute on tracks from forthcoming album by the progmetal group Opeth.
The main artists for the second ever Aftershock festival in California have been confirmed. Taking place on October 10-13, its headliners are Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Mötley Crüe and the newly reunited Slayer, along with 130 bands spread across five stages. Last year’s festival was headlined by Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn, and was attended by 160,000 fans.
