The latest version of Patch My PC applies several small but welcome updates to the brilliant software updater. It adds support for ARM-based versions of programs, which are becoming common now more PCs have ARM processors – examples in Patch My PC’s Library include Chrome, GIMP and PowerToys. Another improvement lets you stop a specific tool updating or installing, without cancelling the process for other software. Patch My PC will no longer notify you when updates are available for programs whose auto-update settings you’ve disabled. Additionally, when viewing installed tools in your My Apps list, you can now directly access the folders they’re stored in. Click the three-dot icon in the Actions column and choose ‘Open install location’ (see screenshot).
