Craft Stamper  |  Craft Stamper - October 2013
Hello! Although I am something of a sun worshipper I do love changing of seasons into autumn - I adore the warm hues of the turning trees and the gentle sound of rustling leaves underfoot. You’ll find lots of inspiration for autumn this issue, with rustic colour tones taking centre stage in our Ready Set Stamp Gallery (p.53), in Susan Wherry’s charming bird-themed projects (p.66) and in our Stamping Contrasts challenge (p.20).
Something else that makes me happy is frugal money-saving ideas (although I spend enough on stash to start my own shop - figure that one out!). We have several ideas for you this issue, including two ways with cardboard in Double Take (p.48), two ways to make your stencils go further (p.16 and 24), an entire journal made from watercolour paper and tape (p.36) and a fabulous and totally free homemade stamp using leftover bits of rubber (p.76). Enjoy!
