White Noise project, alongside her Radiophonic colleague Brian Hodgson and American musician David Vorhaus. The recent reissue of ‘An Electric Storm’, White Noise’s wilfully experimental and delectably strange debut album, once again shines a light on this electronic masterpiece.
Writer David Stubbs interviewed both Hodgson and Vorhaus for our cover feature, the pair reflecting on the late 60s counterculture in which the group materialised. How the trio came together is a highly entertaining story, with lots of surprising twists and turns. Lots of sex and drugs as well.
